Henry and I spent Presidents day with Kaley and her BFF Kayla! We had so much fun! We spent a leisurely morning grocery shopping because it was monday and thats my errands day... anyway, we then went into DC to walk around the Tidal basin. I LOVE doing this. You can see so many different memorials and monuments along the way. The weather was a bit nippy but it was so beautiful! Enjoy our fun pictures

Obama in the Neighborhood?

Yes. He. Was. Henry and I noticed at least 30+ cops surrounding the community center right across the street from our apartment. Daddy did a little research for us and we found out that President Obama, THE president of the United States of America, was across the street at the community center that I go running at. He was presenting a housing plan of some sort. We decided to get our cameras, and walk over to see if He was still there or if anything was still going on. Well, about 90 seconds after arriving President Obama drove by. His windows weren't as dark as I thought they would be so some people got a good look at him. However, I was looking at my camera trying to snap a shot of the event. Henry did wave right to Obama though. It was a really sweet, and very cool moment. Although the pictures aren't great we did get a few. Enjoy!

There goes Obama!
Henry was snapping pics and waving to Obama. Very sweet!
We went for a walk after we waved to the President and Henry loved sitting here taking pictures and lining up these rocks. He brought 2 home!

Henry took this picture and the one below. I thought they were neat and thought he should get credit for em
