Happy Thanksgiving!!! For Thanksgiving this morning we decided to take a walk around the tidal pool near the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. It was a beautiful morning for a walk.

Oh my funny son -

Today on the way to pick Daddy up from the train Henry sneezed. I was in my own little world when I heard him say:
Henry: Bless you
Mommy: Oh, sorry Henry, Bless you
Henry: Bless you HENRY
Mommy: Yes, bless you Henry.

Today as his little friend Paige sneezed today he politely said "Bless you Paige" about 3 times. He seemed rather concerned about her sneeze. It was sweet

Happy Halloween! 2011 Little Chicken Little

Henry has really enjoyed the Halloween festivities this year! He will probably be ready to take for trick or treating next year! We have enjoyed painting pumpkins, trick or treating at daddy's work, and even at the mall! Henry had to really warm up to his costume this year, but with lots of practice 'trick-or-treating' at home this year (w/o the candy) he was all pumped up for his big moment. Enjoy!

Currituck Lighthouse - I climbed a million stairs to the top and it was so incredible. The following pictures are from inside this amazing structure as well as the breathtaking view

Bodie Lighthouse

Hatteras Lighthouse. They moved the entire lighthouse further inland  to prevent damages from the wind and ocean. It took 23 days and they moved it 5 inches at a time!! It is so beautiful 

An Afternoon at the beach....

Our first afternoon at the Outer Banks we took a quick drive to the beach. Henry was fascinated with the sand, and water, and birds..... He LOVED exploring...
