Owie?

Henry fell jumping on the trampoline with his tiny cousins just 3 days before his 3rd birthday. If you haven't already experienced a head wound you should know now that they are bleeders. Now, this wasnt his first head wound...he's cut his lip a couple times, but this WAS our first experience with stitches. Not Fun. Thats all I can say. Its a hard thing for a mommy to hold her confused, upset, hurting child down while a doctor pushes, what looks like, a fish hook through his perfect skin 4 times. It was not fun, but Henry was a perfect angel. AFTER...all was said and done. He got a chocolate frosty, and never once touched his cool, new, blue stitches.
I came out to find Henry had made a Road of DVDS. He wouldnt let me put them away all day! Finally when Dad was on his way home I convinced they had to go back. I love his toddler--ness :)

3 YEARS OLD

Well, our sweet little Henry has officially turned 3! I was kind of hoping his birthday wouldn't come, and he would quit aging. He is mature beyond his 3 little years, and its an amazing thing to witness his growth, and grasp of the world around him. He is so so very chatty. He loves to talk. He asks me a million questions a day about anything and everything. His curiosity is incredible, and as much as I hate to watch him age so quickly I am anxious and excited to see what this little man does with his life. He has great potential, and will do wonderful things. We celebrated Henry's 3 birthday with a steady flow of gifts all day long, and a monster bash with family! We got rained out about 45 minutes into his party which was a bummer, but we are grateful for this amazing little boy. Happy 3rd Birthday Henry! We love you more then you will ever know.

All in all - I'd say it was a pretty AWESOME day. Happy Birthday sweet boy. We LOVE you!

4th Of July - Bear Lake

Bear Lake is Heaven on Earth. I am lucky enough to have a reason to visit often. My parents now own the house that my Dad grew up in, in St. Charles, Idaho. Enjoy the MANY many pictures, and if you ever get the opportunity to... Visit this amazing area.

DRIVING?! Yes, my handsome 2 year old took the wheel and spun us around the lake a bit

Bloomington Lake. Stunning right? It's a short 45 minutes up the canyon from home, and it's amazing. That's snow up there, and the water was frigid but my crazy brother decided to participate in the fun and swung from a rope right into that icy water!
There he goes....
The ADORABLE Goodwin clan (Dad at home)
The ADORABLE Berg Clan (Dad on his way up...)
Jamal playing his harmonica
Grandma Julia, and Grandpa Keith
Poor Henry, He had SO much fun on this trip the the stinking mosquitos got him! He woke up with his eye swollen shut. It was swollen for 2 days. Poor little man.

Paris, ID Chuck Wagon Breakfast! LOVE this tradition! (Grandpa Keith in that awesome Hawaiian style shirt)
The Gang
And last but not least... good ol'Chuck wagon music...

Doing 'Poppers' with Aunt Natty
We made adorable table numbers and a banner for Nattys upcoming wedding. Cant wait to see it all together!
Yep, he insisted on wearing a princess helmet and his cars jammies to watch a cartoon...

Henry and Finn = Favorite Cousins?

These two handsome boys could spend hours, and hours and hours, and hours, and HOURS together. They adore each other, and have the most adorable conversations. They only little guy missing is Ty.

One Month Later....

I cant believe it has been so long since our last update. In the weeks that have passed we have moved to Utah, and are adjusting to life living with family and preparing for the Bar.
Enjoy Pictures and updates!

We said goodbye to dear dear friends.....

We said goodbye to our favorite places...

And We have celebrated Daddys big 27!
We have played with cousins, and made new friends!

We are enjoying the opportunities that come with having Family so near to us. Henry is getting more playtime then he ever did in Virginia and is really enjoying his cousins.
Cousin Trayson's Baseball Game
This truck is adorable wouldn't you say? Hand carved by a sweet older man at our local Farmers Market. My mom and I were drooling over these getting ready to buy one for Henry when a woman walking away from his booth said "I just bought one of these for your little boy" and that was it. She disappeared into the crowd. Wow. What an incredibly generous thing to do. I have a reason now to pay it forward, and Henry is LOVING this truck.
And alas, Henry finally got his new fish. Welcome to our home Santa. Yes, you read correctly. Henry has named his new little pet Santa. We love him dearly.
